Lisa has produced thousands of hours for live and taped programming in talk, entertainment, primetime news, live music, and podcast for a variety of networks (FOX, CBS, SPECTRUM, FACEBOOK WATCH, REVOLT, etc.). Shortly after beginning her television career, Lisa quickly moved on to produce several nationally syndicated shows for 20th Television, one of which landed Lisa her first EMMY win in 2008.
For the past seven years, Lisa's extensive knowledge in storytelling, production and studio workflow has proven to be instrumental in the success of the shows she helms. She has led the development and start up for multiple unscripted programs from the ground up including FOX's live entertainment show “Hollywood Today Live” and the flagship show, “Revolt Live,” for Sean Combs' cable network REVOLT. In 2019, Wilson received another EMMY nomination for the FaceBook Watch series “Red Table Talk” and second EMMY win plus a SoCal Journalism Award in 2020 for the primetime news magazine show “LA Times Today” on Spectrum News1 in partnership with the LA Times.
In 2017, Lisa launched her multimedia production company Beauvais Wilson Productions with producing partner Garcelle Beauvais. This venture catapulted her into the next level of her career in scripted content. The producing duo‘s film debut “Lalo’s House” exposed the horrific world of sex trafficking. Wilson and Beauvais served as Executive Producers on the student short for which was honored with several awards including a Student Oscar by the Academy in 2018.
In partnership with MGM Studios, Lisa co-created and launched the hit comedy podcast “Going to Bed with Garcelle” in 2020 with her producing partner, for which both serve as Executive Producers. The podcast gained a fast following and landed on Spotify’s curated Laugh Our Loud list. Also, in 2020 Lisa was responsible for finding distribution for a groundbreaking cooking show called "Cooking With Critters" and short film "Test of Faith" now showing on the ON! Network.
As a Development Executive, Lisa has built relationships with high level executives in some of the top tier production companies and top networks. Currently, Lisa works on the development of both scripted/unscripted programming and film production.
